One of my Rockin' heART team members, Darlene Smyly, taught us how to create a Split Panel card at a recent class. It was so much fun!!
Here is a 4 1/4" x 11" top folding White Daisy card. Fold the card from the top in half at 5 1/2", you can score first before you fold.
Place the fold line on the 2" mark on your trimmer and cut. This will leave you with the 2" x 4 1/4" panel for the top of the split panel.
Take the leftover piece, 3 1/2" x 4 1/4", and cut 2" from the 3 1/2" side. This will leave you with a 2" x 4 1/4" for the bottom panel.
The remaining 1 1/2" x 4 1/4" piece may be used for the sentiment piece which will attach the top and bottom panels, which is what I did. I stamped one of the flamingos from the Tickled Pink (C1651) stamp set
I cut a Black cardstock mat for it at 4 1/2" x 1 3/4".

A friend shared her version of a rocker card and I fell in love. A rocker card starts with circles. The base 5 1/2" circle cut from New England Ivy cardstock. A second 5" circle is cut from pattern paper, here I am using the New England Ivy pattern paper.
The next pieces are the circles creating a place for the sentiment and embellishments. Here I changed it up a little. The original circles would be 3 3/4" cut from White Daisy covered by a 3 1/2" circle cut from the Beary Christmas poinsettia pattern paper. My version…
